What exactly is cuboo?
cuboo is a focus & productivity app that reframes deep work as a train journey across Europe. You start a focus session by "boarding a train" to a capital city; while you focus, distracting apps are blocked and calming scenery rolls past. Finish the ride and you collect that city's stamp.
Does it really block distracting apps?
Yes. cuboo uses Apple's Screen Time (Family Controls) to lock the apps you choose for the length of your ride. Try to open one mid-session and you'll see cuboo's branded "stay on board" screen instead.
Do I have to keep the app open the whole time?
No. Once your train departs, the session keeps running in the background. Lock your phone and get to work — cuboo keeps the timer moving and the apps blocked.
Which capitals can I collect?
All 24, including London, Paris, Amsterdam, Berlin, Rome, Madrid, Vienna, Prague, Copenhagen, Stockholm, Oslo, Helsinki, Reykjavík and more. Each one has its own hand-drawn stamp to earn.
Is my data private?
Your journeys live on your device first. Sign-in and cloud sync are optional, and your sessions are only ever visible to you.
